The committee reserves the right to assign a suitable category to a successful abstract in some cases.

All abstracts must be submitted online via email:

Abstracts submitted through any other source will be invalid.

The official language of communication during the conference is English.

Information to include, in this order

  1. 1 Surname and first name of the corresponding author
  2. 2 Address (department and institution) of the corresponding author
  3. 3 Name and affiliations of all authors, listed in order of preference
  4. 4 Name of the presenting author
  5. 5 Indication of status (Registrar, Senior Registrar, Consultant, etc.)

Abstract format

The abstract must be structured, except for case reports, using the format below:

Introduction (including background and aims/objectives of the study)
Materials and methods
Results
Conclusion
Keywords (not more than 5)
  • Each abstract should be a maximum of 250 words.
  • All work must be original and must not have been published previously.

Who can submit?

All doctors who practice Family Medicine.

Prizes

There will be prizes for the best three abstracts.
